RIDER ALERT

LADOT INSTITUTES PRECAUTIONS AGAINST SWINE FLU

LADOT has directed all its service providers to institute enhanced cleaning procedures on all LADOT DASH, Commuter Express and Cityride buses. This precautionary measure has been taken in response to recent swine flu outbreaks reported in Southern California.

Daily cleaning of all bus interiors with an alcohol-based solution has been ordered. In addition, LADOT has directed that special attention be paid to those items that are touched most often, such as handrails, handles and stanchions. These items are to be wiped off every day with the solution.
