RIDER ALERT
DASH DOWNTOWN L.A. ROUTE C CHANGES
Effective July 20, 2007, DASH Downtown Los Angeles Route C will begin using a new route to serve retail stores and residential units in the South Park area.
- Between 7th and 11th streets, buses will operate in both directions on Hope St. to serve the new Ralphs Fresh Fare Market and other retail stores at stops on Hope St. at 9th St. The new route will also serve recently built residential units along the Hope St. corridor. Service on Grand Avenue between 7th St. and Pico Blvd. and on Olive Street between 5th St. and 12th St. will be eliminated.
- Buses will also be rerouted to more directly serve the AT&T Center/City Public Works Building with stops at the Hill/12th Street intersection.
- At the northern end of the route, buses will operate one-way on Wilshire Blvd., Flower St. and 7th Streets to serve Macy’s Plaza and connect with DASH Routes A, B, E and F. The northern part of the existing route (Olive, 5th and Flower Streets) will not be served since it is also served by Routes A or B.
- Service to California Hospital and residences south of Pico Blvd. will be maintained using the existing route.
- A new route map for Route C is posted on each DASH Downtown Los Angeles bus. The existing schedule of a bus every 10 minutes between 7:10 - 8:30 AM, 11:10 AM - 1:30 PM and 4:30 - 5:30 PM and every 20 minutes outside those times will be operated between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
