LA Mobile IOS 11.3 Compatibility Issue UPDATE

As previously reported, LA Mobile is not currently compatible on iOS 11.3. In response, LADOT Transit has decided to accelerate the timeline of Phase 2 of the mobile payments demonstration in order to provide our riders with a newer, more stable and user-friendly application platform:

  • A Beta version of this new platform will be released for iOS customers on May 9, 2018
  • This version will allow riders who have updated their iPhones to the 11.3 operating system to once again use the LA Mobile application
  • The new platform also responds to feedback received from customers about the current platform
  • Full versions of the new platform will be available to all users by the end of June 2018

Riders who have updated to the iOS 11.3 operating system should pay their fares with a TAP card or cash until the Beta version is released. LADOT Transit sincerely regrets the inconvenience this temporary solution causes, but we believe accelerating the introduction of the new platform is the best permanent solution.

All Android phone users and iPhone users who have not updated to iOS 11.3 can continue to use LA Mobile.
